Stanley Electric NEW water treatment units
Stanley Electric aims to achieve a world for everyone to live safely, and has launched the disinfection product brand AℓNUV, that uses ultraviolet technology.
UV reactor (water disinfection unit) Water flow
Dirty water passes through the rector and purified to remove harmful viruses and pathogens
Stanley Electric aim is to achieve a world for everyone to live safely, it’s said that there are only nine countries in the world where tap water can be drunk straight from the faucet. Using Stanley proprietary optical technology developed over
many years for automotive headlamps and LED components from our in-house UV LED manufacturing process, we have incorporated UV C LED light modules inside water treatment reactors. The heart of STANLEY Electric Japan water disinfection units is the highest class 265nm UV C LED. Standard flow rate models are included in the lineup for pure water treatment equipment, industrial water process systems and small-scale water purifying plant. All are mercury free in accordance with Minamota Convention and environmental impact. Designed to achieve single pass water disinfection and extend filter lifetime by reducing maintenance
intervals, Stanley continues the development of a variety of disinfection products including larger flow rate UV C water treatment products.
The disinfection effect is immediate upon start up. STANLEY 265nm UV C LEDs have the highest performance against viruses, bacteria and chlorine resistant parthenogenic organisms. It’s well established that 265nm UV C light disinfection is effective against waterborne diseases and conditions caused by micro-organisms too small to be seen with the naked eye. For large water flow rate its possible for multiple modules to be installed. The configuration of high
power and ultra-high power (200mW) UV LEDs are used to improve the performance of UV LED modules. Comparing to mercury lamp – the power of UV LEDs can be obtained instantly – the quartz window for
each module can be made thinner, allowing customers to manage the pressure resistance inside of a reactor.
Optimisation of the distribution of UV dose by rectification and light distribution technology means UV efficiency can achieve 6 times higher results over mercury lamps and the reactor size can reduce installation space to 50%. Running water 6 LED reactors are just 187mm length by 73.5mm diameter. The LEDs are fully hermetically sealed (metal bonding on glass) preventing “sudden drop out” due to humidity effect. This enables achieved lifetime of L70 10,000hr using our self-developed LED dies and packages. Heat dissipation with water cooling means up to 45,000 hr life is realizable by driving at optimum current. STANLEY water disinfection units are designed so there is no need to drain the water when replacing the light source module. STANLEY can support each application by adding power supply and control systems upon request.
