There are definite advantages in having an enclosure that is at home on walls as it is on desks. It is important for aesthetics and continuity of design language – and it helps to create economies of scale for the budget- conscious healthcare sector. These enclosures need to be highly versatile. OKW’s soft-contoured PROTEC (IP 65 optional) is a prime example, being available in three variants: Version I has a

deep recessed interface area at the rear; Version II conceals this recess under a flush-fitting snap-on cover; Version III has a screw-fitted larger cover that is also a desk stand. All these ASA+PC-FR enclosures have a large recessed top for a touchscreen display or membrane keypad. The front operating panel is inclined by 20° for ergonomic viewing and operation. And for larger instrumentation there is MEDITEC, a range of tried and trusted desktop, portable and wall-mount

enclosures. Strengthening ribs ensure robust construction while clip-in side trims offer ventilation options while also concealing the fixing screws. MEDITEC can be specified with or without a tilt/swivel carry handle that doubles as a desk stand.

Choosing the right enclosures partner

All standard enclosures need to be customised to some degree. So, it makes sense to partner with a specialist

manufacturer that provides the full range of services including machining, finishing, digital printing and laser marking. Customised housings can be shipped straight to your production line ready for the installation of components. One expert manufacturer is fully accountable for the consistent quality of your enclosures from start to finish. You’ll get peace of mind and a more streamlined order process.
