Tell us about some of the key products Gresham Power has introduced.


Our Power Supply Distribution business offers a very wide range of AC and DC input industrial, embedded, programmable and medical power supplies. And while providing continued support for legacy design-ins can now offer the latest technologies, power densities, small form-factors and configurable power supply products sourced from global leading-edge power supply manufacturers. New products of note include a 600W conduction cooled power supply from Vox Power, this silent running fanless power supply meets EN55011/22 and Military MIL-STD 461 levels for conducted and radiated EMC and has ITE and medical approvals. This is the only conduction cooled modular power supply currently available providing up to 4 x 150W outputs with output voltages from 1,5V – 58V as specified by the user. Also going into the Gresham Power portfolio is the MUI Series of medical desktop power supplies approved to IEC 60601 3rd Edition and with 2 x MOPP. The MUI provides a very high output power from 235W to 310W with no fan. The DPAMPS3000 1U 19” Rack Power System is the last of the new products making an immediate appearance. Offering 5 x Power Modules with outputs up to 3000W each and voltage 12V – 48V offering a total of 15kW in a 19” Rack package. The hot pluggable modules may be configured as N+1 Redundant and with incredible 97 per cent efficiency the DPAMPS3000 currently offers the highest power density on the planet! Other recent product introductions include MIL and rail specification DC:DC converters, vehicle based power systems, and a wide range of CompactPCI power supplies including ruggedised and MIL versions. Our in-house design and manufacturing facilities offer customers the option of custom and added-value products for bespoke applications.


Gresham Power Electronics joined forces with the Power Solutions Group of Coolisys Technologies last year. What does this mean for the company?


Since joining the Power Solutions Group of Coolisys Technologies, formed after recent international acquisitions by our US holding company, we are embarking on major development plans to expand our global power supply sourcing platform. From 2018 Gresham has been able to take advantage of the expertise and synergies of this new ensemble of companies including USA based Microphase Corporation and Power-Plus and Enertec in Israel who between them supply MIL standard filters, power supplies, further distribution resources and value-added power system solutions. Gresham will continue to have access to the products and engineering base of our California based partner company Digital Power Corporation. Inward investment in Gresham Power Electronics has begun with the

appointment of a new sales director/MD designate Martin Brabham. Martin has a wealth of experience in the power


conversion industry having held directorships with major international power supply manufacturing companies


and distributors. Martin will oversee our integration into the Coolisys Technologies Power Solutions Group and maximise the opportunities it brings us going forward. During the course of 2018 we plan to further increase our product offering, grow our distribution channels and strengthen our engineering resources. Expansion of our in-house capabilities will include custom design and modification services and value-added technical support will stem from synergies within the globally staffed Power Solutions Group for Coolisys Technologies. The recent strategic business acquisitions will widen our technology base and product offering and increase our market presence this coming year. Plans are in train for an increased focus to grow commercial sector sales as part of the expanded Power Solutions Group which will become a global resource for the benefit of our customers. The current Gresham Power


Electronics product range includes static frequency converters, DC UPS, distributed power systems, helicopter starting systems and DC:AC inverters for naval defence markets. OEM and external power supplies and hot-swap power shelves for advanced multi-media applications, medical, industrial, communications, broadcast systems, LED lighting and more.
