Discretes and power semiconductors Founded in 1995, JJ Micro is a manufacturer of discretes and power semiconductor devices. Employing over 500 people, of whom more than 12 per cent are R&D engineers, the company has its own intellectual property rights and unique technology and products. It was the first Chinese company to produce square SCR and TRIACs. The company is certificated to ISO9001:2008, ISO14001:2004 and OHSAS18001:2007. Many products achieve IECQ certification and comply with UL standard, RoHS requirements, REACH requirements and customers' special environmental protection requirements. Thanks to a recently-signed franchise distribution deal, Transonics is carrying a full range of JJ Micro’s diodes, protection devices, thyristors and transistors. JJ Micro uses a technique on some of its thyristor and triac products which significantly increased isolation to 1400V, significantly higher than that offered by leading competitors. Also its range of MOSFETs are available on a much shorter leadtime than is currently usual.
Cable assemblies – free samples Transonics evaluates very thoroughly any Far East (or elsewhere) supplier that we work with. For cable assemblies, it’s a similar story to PCBs. We have built a relationship with a quality provider, and we fully support that with our UK design and logistics team. Our cable assemblies partner is Tri-Mark Enterprise Company, a market leader in China for around 25 years. Tri-mark is different from most other cable and connector manufacturers because the company produces copper wire and PVC resin in-house, controlling quality and reducing cost.
