The Electronics Industry Awards to go carbon neutral
Every bit of carbon produced from this year’s live event will be professionally calculated and then offset to support some amazing projects around the world
W
e are delighted to announce that the Electronics Industry Awards will be going carbon neutral for 2023, with the help of our sustainability partner Fischer Elektronik – the manufacturer of heatsinks, thermal conductive materials, cases and connectors. By working closely with carbon reduction engineers and event venue The Grand Connaught Rooms, we will be meticulously calculating all the carbon that the award ceremony will produce. The Business Carbon Assessments will be completed by an independent third party to the international standard and the GHG Protocol, which is internationally recognised. Once complete, we will offset all the carbon produced by the live event to a chosen cause.
Organised by Components in Electronics (CIE) publisher Datateam Business Media, the Electronics Industry Awards recognise and reward excellence and ingenuity across the electronics sector.
