Show Preview

Newbury will demonstrate how it supports industries from aerospace and defence to medical, photonics and autosport. Visuals from its facilities, featured in its presentation, emphasise its 40,000 square feet production environment and extensive technical resource base.

Digital transformation also features prominently at this year’s event, with Tecman showcasing how Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central can unify manufacturing and distribution data within a single ERP platform. Tecman’s specialists demonstrate how Business Central enables streamlined processes, improved operational visibility and scalable business growth for engineering and manufacturing organisations. On stand J200, Thame Workholding will showcase its Samchully JBM/JBH Jaw Boring Open Centre Hydraulic Chuck, which is described as “the world’s fi rst power chuck with a built-in boring ring”. This enables machinists to bore soft jaws using only a standard Allen wrench, eliminating conventional boring rings, reducing set-up time by up to 90 per cent and extending jaw life thanks to its ultra-fi ne 0.1mm adjustment capability. This is one of several innovations highlighted in Southern Manufacturing &

Electronics’ Innovations Gallery for 2026. The gallery also features Silclear’s re-Sil, a recycled silicone material developed to reduce industrial waste and support more sustainable component production. Originally created to repurpose the organisation’s own silicone scrap, re-Sil now offers manufacturers a compelling route to address the sector’s broader waste challenge.

The gallery also showcases one of the latest AI innovations impacting the manufacturing sector. Blue, an industrial AI for inspection, anomaly detection and quality control, can be witnessed on the Matta Labs stand, M180. Elsewhere on the show fl oor, China Outsourcing, a long-established provider of offshore manufacturing and supply chain solutions, will be rebranding to Global Outsourcing. The new name refl ects the company’s evolution from a country-specifi c sourcing specialist into an international manufacturing partner supporting customers across multiple countries.

With visitor registration now open, Southern Manufacturing & Electronics 2026 promises an opportunity for engineers, designers and procurement professionals to discover breakthrough technologies, source new suppliers and build stronger,

more sustainable production networks. This year’s show also features the return of the Global Electronics Association’s soldering competition, a new wire harness competition, and two fully-programmed CPD-accredited seminar theatres, offering practical insights into manufacturing improvement and digital adoption.

Southern Manufacturing & Electronics takes place from 3rd to 5th February 2026 at Farnborough International Exhibition Centre. Register for a free ticket today by visiting:
