CATEGORIES There are so many opportunities to showcase the achievements of the electronics industry with a cornucopia of awards now up for grabs. We’ve got three main sections: Business, Product and Individual awards, all ready and waiting to be claimed.

he highly successful Electronics Industry Awards is back for 2020 and the website is now open for entries!
Award nominations are coming in fast, and the categories are already filling with a plethora of products and innovative solutions, all vying for the chance for victory at the glamorous awards show, which will be held at London’s Tower Hotel on Thursday 24 September 2020.
Entries close on March 6 Make sure that your entry is included for a chance at being shortlisted, and hopefully winning a coveted award. The application process will be open for a limited time, and entries will close on Friday 6 March 2020.
There’s still plenty of time to get involved, and plenty of time for companies and individuals to enter into the relevant categories on the Electronics Industry Awards website. Here it is also possible to nominate other companies or individuals that you feel deserve recognition for their hard work. Both entries and nominations are complete free of charge, and can be submitted via the same online form until Friday 6 March - making it quick and easy to shine a spotlight on those that deserve it. Unlike any other event of its kind, the 2020 scheme will continue to offer the industry the chance to have their say in the Product and Individual categories, where the online votes will be combined with a
A mix of online votes and judges opinion will decide the winners for: ‘Aerospace/Military/Defence Product of the Year’, ‘Automotive Product of the Year’, ‘Display Product of the Year’, ‘Enclosure Product of the Year’ and ‘Engineering Development/Design Tool of the Year’. ‘Interconnection Product of the Year’, ‘Internet of Things Product of the Year’, ‘Power Product of the Year’, ‘Test, Measurement & Inspection Product of the Year’ and ‘Embedded Solution Product of the Year’ will also be decided in this manner. Similarly, the prestigious ‘Industry Personality’ award will be determined by combining the views of industry professionals with those of the expert judges. The business categories on offer include: ‘Distributor of the Year’, ‘Electronics Manufacturer of the Year’, ‘Excellence in Innovation’, ‘Environmental Leadership’, ‘Best Customer Service’, ‘Academic Support’ and ‘Most Outstanding PR Agency’. A shortlist and ultimate winner for these awards will be exclusively decided by the voting process.
