ardiner Bros and Footsure Western Ltd has been awarded Carbon Neutral Certification, marking a significant
milestone in the Group’s commitment to environmental sustainability and climate action across the company. Through a comprehensive sustainable
strategy in 2024, the Gloucester-based footwear and clothing wholesaler worked extensively to reduce its carbon footprint by 34 per cent, resulting in a saving of 73 tonnes of CO2 from the atmosphere. This achievement comes as the company
actually increased its energy usage in the past year due to large investments, including extended warehouse opening hours and further factory equipment. Despite these changes, by opting for a green tariff that provides carbon- free electricity from renewable resources, Gardiners and Footsure has saved 233.80 tonnes of CO2 emissions.
