Firstly, I’d like to wish you all a very happy new year! And welcome to the jam-packed January 2025 edition of Footwear Today! The countdown is on to the return of the Footwear Today Live show that is taking place on 2-3 February, returning to the NCC in Birmingham!
We’ve got hundreds of leading footwear,
fashion and accessories brands all showcasing their latest collections and they’ll be ready for you to put your orders in for the year ahead. The show itself has grown rapidly in recent years, which is testament to its popularity and how valuable and useful retailers find the show.
Therefore, it’s important to make the most of your visit. Look up the brands that are in attendance and organise meetings at the show; it’ll be the most efficient way to spend your time there so you can maximise the opportunity to see all your favourite brands!
We are so excited to be back in just a couple of weeks’ time, and I hope to see many of you there. Official show guides will be handed out at the event, and you can read the show preview in this issue on pages 10-11.
Also this month we’ve got an exclusive interview with Gus Marshall from The Marshall Fashion Group – he’ll be at Footwear Today Live with his brands Legero, Wonders, Heavenly Feet, and Sophos. We spoke about the family history behind TMFG and its heritage in the footwear sector, and how each brand today offers something unique for its customers. As well as that, we’ve got articles with Golden Concept, Jana and Marco Tozzi, plus previews for the upcoming London Shoe Show, Harrogate Fashion Week and MICAM! I wish you all a productive and successful show season ahead!
