the Footwear Industry Awards event promises to be a fabulous and exciting evening, held on 17th February 2019, the first night of the Moda Show, at Birmingham’s National Conference Centre.
We now have the support of the Worshipful Company of Cordwainers, read
more in Footwear Awards News, page 6. The Society of Shoe Fitters will be celebrating its 60th year - Diamond Anniversary - in 2019 and we hope everyone will unite and help celebrate this amazing feat at the Footwear Awards Event. The Children’s Foot Health Register is delighted to be sponsoring the disco so everyone can stay and kick up their heels! This could be the biggest get together of retailers and suppliers for many years! Those attending will receive a goodie bag (items welcomed), with a chance
to win £200! £100 kindly donated by DB Shoes and £100 by Joya. Start-rite has kindly sponsored a prize on behalf of the SSF for the Red/Black Game. Free school shoes for a year! (One winner will get 5 vouchers).
If anyone would like to put promotional items in the goodie bags there is
no charge for doing so. The SSF will require 200 promotional items by the end of January. As there is no charge for handling this, all donations gratefully received!
Tickets for the event are still available. The price includes a cocktail
reception, a luxury three-course dining with fine wines, after-dinner entertainment, a Black and Gold game with fabulous prizes to be won, plus award presentations for outstanding performance, so please contact Sue Wiseman on 01622 699185 or
