Footwear Industry Awards Event 2019 W
ith the 2019 Footwear Industry Awards just around the corner, I’m delighted to reveal the five finalists still in the running for the prestigious Shop Front of
the Year gong. An incredible number of stunning shop fronts and window displays were submitted by
the most creative footwear retailers, each with the hopes of picking up the coveted award. All submissions were rigorously reviewed by an independent panel of industry figures, who painstakingly whittled down the submissions to just five finalists and ultimately one winner. Those still in with a chance of winning Shop Front of the Year are: Just Shoes,
NooShoo, Strolling4Shoes, The Shoe Room and Trotters The winner will be revealed at the hotly-anticipated awards ceremony taking place on
Sunday 17 February 2019 at the NEC, Birmingham - and those that wish to attend are encouraged to secure their seats now to avoid disappointment. With thousands of industry professionals in town for Moda - taking place just minutes
away at the NEC, Birmingham - the Footwear Industry Awards is a perfect opportunity to put your feet up and let your hair down while networking with peers, colleagues and potential clients. The night will be one to remember, with the proceedings kicking off with an exclusive
drinks reception sponsored by Cherry Blossom where guests can enjoy a cocktail while catching up with industry friends. Guests will then take their seats to indulge in a three course meal with wine before the main event of the evening - the awards presentations. With entertainment from the FIA 2019 host, critically acclaimed comedian
Sean Collins, as well as high profile awards presentations, a new wave of incredible brands, retailers and individuals will be inducted into the scheme’s prestigious ‘hall of fame’. The celebrations will continue into the night with a fun-filled after party hosted by the
Society of Shoe Fitters, in recognition of its Diamond anniversary. The SSF will pull out all the stops to mark 60 years in the industry, with guests receiving goodie bags to take home and a chance to win in a game of red and black and ‘age the feet’ competitions, in addition to a casino and a disco sponsored by the Children’s Foot Health Register. With the ceremony fast approaching, now is the time to find out how your brand can
benefit from one of the bespoke on-the-night sponsorship opportunities still available. For more information about sponsorship and how to secure your place, contact Sue Wiseman on 01622 699185 or at
