LSS PREVIEW
will be held on 23rd and 24th of September 2018 at the Copthorne Tara Hotel, Scarsdale Place, Kensington, London W8 5SR (GPS W8 5SY)
The new Spring Summer 19 collections are being previewed in Europe with the international fairs throughout August and early September.
Following fast on the heels of MICAM - as usual - the London Shoe
Show promises to be another key event in the buying calendar allowing retailers the opportunity to close their forward buying books.
Both exhibition suites at the Copthorne Tara are again full - with a long
waiting list of exhibitors. There are some new brands featured this year alongside the anchors of HB, Ara, Peter Kieser, Hispanitas, Hogl & Unisa to name but a few.
Soft pastel shades alongside vivid oranges and yellows are featured
strongly but the test is whether our buyers see the catwalk colours as appropriate for the UK high street. There is an undoubted continuance of casualization on trainer styles, with even the biggest and most directional brands showing the trainer look. Having said that dress casual sandals, with block heels reflecting the couture dimension will again be strong.
The better than average summer weather has allowed stocks to be
reduced so buyers are again hungry for seasonal and stylish day wear. Many retailers are taking the opportunity to celebrate their summer
success by tagging a weekend break in London on to the event allowing them to see the trends of the West End, as well as the shows and restaurants.
