BASE Technology, a manufacturer of application specific industrial embedded computing platforms, has announced the IB818 3.5-inch single board computer powered by the Intel Atom QC x7-E3950, Pentium QC N4200 or Celeron DC N3350 SoC (formerly Apollo Lake) processor. Providing significant improvement in both CPU and graphics performance compared with previous generations, the IB818 is designed for both industrial and commercial applications including IoT, factory automation, self-service kiosks, and POS systems. As the Intel Atom x7-E3950 adds support for extended temperature range -40°C to 85°C, the board is suitable for indoor and outdoor installations.
