CSI chemical service pump range expands to meet demands of global ISO market


With the introduction of additional models to our CSI chemical service pump range, we are expanding our ISO sealless magnetic drive pump offering and meeting the needs of an even wider range of chemical pump applications. The CSI chemical service sealless magnetic drive


pump range has been expanded to include additional models, providing comprehensive hydraulic coverage with a total of 13 Frame 1 and 16 Frame 2 sizes. Meeting ISO dimensional and construction standards 2858 and 15783, the expansion of the CSI range has focused pri- marily on additional hydraulics and a feature set which allows greater variation in the inlet and outlet sizes, al- lowing a wider range of flow rates of up to 120 m3/h and heads up to 62m, all optimised for high performance.

Innovative products with high practical benefits: The multichannel MCR-4 series of T&D Corporation allows a wide range of measurements and simplifies the monitoring of industrial plants, production areas and environmental measurements. Up to four units monitoring voltage (MCR-4V) or temperature (MCR-4TC) can be coupled together to measure and record up to 16 channels simultaneously. The series consists of two models:


The MCR-4TC enables temperature measurements from -270°C up to 1760°C, with the shortest recording interval being just 100ms. The MCR-4V, meanwhile, meas- ures from ± 300 mV to ± 24 V or auto mode. Precision measure- ments can be made at a minimum resolution of 10µV, with the shortest interval of 2ms. While the MCR-4TC is compatible with the thermocouple types K, J, T, S, R, the MCR-4V proves its versatility with a wide input voltage range, which allows it to receive signals from a large range of sensors and analyzers. An MCR-4 TC logger can record 960,000 data records, and an MCR-4 V data logger up to 480,000 data records. The internal data memory of both models can be expanded using an SD card. The recording capacity depends on how many channels are activated simultaneously. T&D’s MCR-4 series is ideal for measurements in industrial


environments. The MCR-4TC can be used in areas containing pipes, ducts and boilers, as well as catering equipment and chilled goods storage, while the MCR-4V is perfect for locations such as electric circuits, control devices and measurement instruments.

Hydrogen Compatible Pressure Measurement


ESI have launched their newest range of pressure measurement solutions. Com- patible with Hydrogen based environments the range offers a general industrial, high pres- sure and high accuracy vari- ant, as well as a digital transducer, available with a combination of ATEX and DNV- GL certification on selected models. Hydrogen offers a cleaner,


secure and more affordable source of energy with the potential to drastically reduce and tackle CO2 emission levels. With that in mind ESI are committed to offering a product range


that is not only versatile and environmentally friendly, but also offers the same outstanding performance and stability that they are known for.


What is Hydrogen Compatibility? Samples of the materials used in the manufacture of the range were tested based on ISO 11114-2:2017 in accordance to the European Regu- lations EC 79/2009 and EU 406/2010 to determine an “embrittlement index” of the material when placed in a saturated environment over extended periods of time. Results have provided a pass rating to the compatibility of the material against Hydrogen.


The Material The pressure diaphragm and threaded pressure port are machined from a specialist Titanium alloy specifically designed to withstand harsh and demanding environments. This, along with the non-oil-filled


sensor and high integrity stainless steel housing results in a robust and versatile unit that offers excellent media compatibility across a range of environments. The Hydrogen range also benefits from the same Silicon on Sap-


phire (SOS) sensor technology used throughout the ESI brand, provid- ing outstanding performance, stability and highly accurate pressure measurement.


Applications Hydrogen is already used in a growing variety of industries, and al- though the Oil & Gas sector still remains the predominant source of energy supply and usage, there are significant efforts being made to find an alternative.
