One element of this is Building Information Modeling (BIM), a collaborative way of working, which unlocks more efficient methods of designing, creating and maintaining of assets. BIM is now widely used, and increasingly specified as mandatory for both residential and commercial construction. However the technology is still new to the industrial sector, a position that the company is changing through her investment in digital technology now available to clients on a local and global basis.
Ian Dunkley, Managing Director of Bilfinger Tebodin in the United Kingdom, commented, ‘BIM offers clients incredible advantages when investing in new facilities. Modern industrial processes can be complex, partly due to the number of stakeholders and different engineering disciplines required .

AlmatecMMSeries AODDpump A
xFlow have introduced the new MM Series of AODD pumps from Almatec. MM Series pumps have been designed specifically to meet the standards, regulations and operational requirements that govern the food and beverage industry.
Using food-grade wetted materials and a construction that provides easy cleaning, the pumps also feature soft redirections without rotating parts and shaft seals in the product chamber. This design feature, when combined with the pump’s gentle displacement principle, results in a pumping solution that is ideally suited for a wide variety of food and beverage applications. The MM Series’ materials and design enable CIP and SIP capabilities. Construction materials comply with FDA Standards, and pumps equipped with PTFE diaphragms and ball valves also comply with EC1935/2004. In addition, the pumps are ATEX conforming according to the 2014/34/EU directive .
