ne of the latest additions to Craft Data’s extensive line up of colour TFT LCD is their 4.0" square format display. The display has a resolution of 480x480 pixels


contained in an active area of 71.86 x 70.18mm and an overall module size of 86 x 86 x 3.9mm. The panel’s IPS Technology produces ultra-wide viewing angles of 80°/80°/80°/80° plus a 300cd/m² LED backlight, a contrast ratio of 700:1 and a 16.7M colour palette further enhances the panels optical performance. The display comes fitted with a Projected Capacitive Touch incorporating an I²C interface and supports 5 simultaneous touches ensuring that users can experience all the features they come to expect from touch technology. A 24-Bit RGB interface is the standard interface with a MIPI version currently under-development. A wide operating temperature range of -20~70°C makes the display suitable for a host of industrial, medical and auto/aero applications.

EMC filters for converter systems – High Frequency Composite Materials meet the requirements for SiC and GaN applications

MC filters reduce interference currents and voltage spikes in power converter systems. The material plays a decisive part in this. SMP has developed "All Mode"


EMC filters with high frequency stability. The High Frequency Composite Materials (HFCM) developed and manufactured by SMP are effective for frequencies up to the gigaHertz range and satisfy all of the requirements to which modern SiC and GaN applications are subject. The All Mode design damps both differential mode and common mode noise. By combining HFCM and All Mode technology it is possible to reduce the number of filter components needed in the system by about 50 percent.


Among other advantages, this also means that common mode chokes or filters can be dispensed with. Compared to standard technologies which use materials such as ferrite, electrical steel sheets and nanocrystalline ribbon, SMP’s EMC filters are noiseless, up to 40 percent lighter, and reduce interference levels by as much as 40 dB[V].

Realistic 3D simulation shows how the connector will appear, enabling users to explore the final product and review assembly dimensions. Interactive graphical assistance is available throughout the configuration process. 3D STEP data files and parts lists can be downloaded to simplify the design process. A transparent view of the

SMART-CONTROL – Unique New Corner Mount Enclosures

KW’s new SMART-CONTROL is the first enclosure for easy installation in room corners or ceilings. In


addition, these all new housings can also be flat wall mounted or positioned on a desk at an ergonomically inclined angle. The cases are available in 2 sizes: 142 x 81 x 46 mm and


173 x 101 x 59 mm, moulded in the flame-resistant plastic ASA+PC-FR (UL 94 V-0) with high UV protection. The standard colour is off-white (RAL 9002). SMART-CONTROL can be ordered with a smooth convex


top or with a recessed top for fitting membrane keypads or labels. PCB mounting pillars are included inside. Accessories include the wall suspension element, desktop stand and an IP 55 sealing kit. The enclosures can be supplied fully customised with


CNC machining, printing / lettering, EMC aluminium coating and assembly processes in accordance with customer specifications.
