ickering Interface’s range of microwave multiplexers is now available with a maximum frequency of 67GHz in both SP4T and SP6T form factors. The higher frequency PXI/PXIe multiplexers (model 40/42- 785C) and LXI multiplexers (models 60-800 & 60-803) maintain the same physical dimensions as existing lower frequency products, enabling users to upgrade to 67GHz products while maintaining the same slot count/rack height within their test systems.

The nRF5340, a wireless SoC with Dual Arm Cortex-M33 processor for complex IoT applications, from Nordic Semiconductor is the third generation of dual- core Bluetooth 5.2 SoC‘s. As an evolution of the nRF51 and nRF52 series, the nRF53 series combines key features, such as high-speed SPI, Bluetooth 5.2 and tolerance to operating temperatures of up to 105°C, with higher performance, larger memory and lower power consumption. This makes the chip especially suitable for applications in LE audio, professional lighting, industrial, advanced wearables, medical, smart home, goods tracking and RTLS. The processor features a 1MB Flash and a 512KB RAM memory.

adence Design Systems, Inc.’s new Spectre FX Simulator, is a FastSPICE circuit simulator that enables efficient verification of memory and large-scale system-on-chip (SoC) designs. With up to 3X better performance compared to the latest FastSPICE simulators with equal or better accuracy provides accuracy-performance continuum for all applications from cell characterisation through chip-level verification. Today's complex memory and SoC designs need high accuracy and fast simulation performance to ensure they function as intended and meet chip specifications. Additionally, it's increasingly essential to include post-layout parasitics in the chip verification process, especially for advanced-node designs to account for the layout effects on the chip functionality. Innovative engineering went into the new FastSPICE solver development to provide breakthrough levels of performance and accuracy within the Spectre FX Simulator. The new simulator gives design and verification teams the ability to accurately check timing, functionality and power consumption of their full- chip and subsystem-level designs. In addition to the productivity gains achieved through improved performance with accuracy, the new Spectre FX simulator offers many other benefits. The simulator offers scalability of up to 32 cores with multi- threading to parallelize transient simulations to take advantage of hardware resources and improve productivity. The Spectre FX Simulator offers extensive verification capabilities, including static and dynamic circuit checking, alters, sweeps and Monte Carlo analyses, allowing designers to expand the scope of their verification beyond functionality, timing and power checks.


The Spectre FX Simulator is intuitive with the best out-of-the- box accuracy and performance balance and a minimal amount of tuning needed to obtain the optimal accuracy and simulation speed for any given verification task.


EMM Series connectors resist high vibration and shock


EMM Series connectors from Nicomatic are compliant with MIL 83513-G and MIL-DTL 55302G to reduce space and weight in the most extreme environments. The 1.27mm pitch EMM interconnect offers a 40% space reduction over its parent CMM Series and a 20% space saving when compared to standard Micro D connectors.

On a 1.27mm pitch in 04 to 60 pin configurations, the EMM Series is highly modular, suited to both board to board (thanks to their secure wiping length) and board to wire (from gauge 24 to gauge 30) configurations, with male and female thru- hole and SMT straight and 90° variants as well as cabled versions available. 90° EMM


Series interconnects feature ingenious integrated back protection, with the contacts protected by a proprietary design. Hardware is interchangeable, with locking and guiding functions available on both male and female connectors. EMM Series connectors have high-performance glass fibre composite moulding and copper alloy.
