ouser Electronics, Inc., the authorized global distributor with the newest semiconductors and electronic components, is the first to stock the STM32 LoRaWAN™ Discovery Board from STMicroelectronics (ST). The new Discovery Kit and I-NUCLEO-LRWAN1 STM32 LoRa™ Arduino-compatible extension board — available to order from Mouser — provide a development platform for learning and evaluating solutions based on LoRa and FSK/OOK radio frequency (RF) communication.
M The
ST STM32 LoRaWAN Discovery Kit, now in stock exclusively at Mouser Electronics, is based on an all-in-one Murata Type ABZ open module solution to address low-power wide area networks (LPWAN) and support the LoRaWAN long-range wireless protocol. The
Type ABZ module is powered by an STM32L072 ARM® Cortex® M0+
microcontroller featuring 192 KBytes of flash, 20 KBytes of RAM, and 6 Kbytes of EEPROM. The STM32L0 ultra-low-power microcontroller offers low-power design features, targeting battery-powered and energy harvesting applications.

Honeywell IHM Series Aerospace Proximity Sensors
Honeywell’s new patented IHM (Integrated Health Monitoring) Series Aerospace Proximity Sensors for harsh duty aircraft applications are now available in Europe through TTI,
distributor of electronic components.
Inc., a world leading specialist The IHM Series
are non-contact devices designed to sense the presence or absence of a target, providing on/off output, plus they can also be configured with an optional health monitoring output to the host system. Highly accurate and reliable, Honeywell IHM Series Aerospace Proximity Sensors lower maintenance costs and reduce downtime.
Honeywell has over 30 years’ experience designing proximity sensors for military and commercial
aircraft, and designed the IHM Series with its patented FAVCO (Fixed Amplitude Variable Current Oscillator) technology circuit.

HDBaseT Reference Design
alens, the developer of HDBaseT and founder of the HDBaseT Alliance, announced the availability of a reference design for HDBaseT transmission of full 18 Gbps HDMI 2.0, including 4K 60 4:4:4. The reference design leverages Lattice Semiconductor’s video connectivity
V ASSPs (Application Specific
Standard Product) to enable Ultra High-definition (UHD) video transmission using visually lossless compression, while maintaining overall latency to a few microseconds.
With Valens’ reference design, vendors and
manufacturers are developing innovative solutions to address the market needs for ultra-high- definition transmission and HDR support.
Several
companies are already introducing such solutions, and will be showcasing them at ISE 2017.
The solution pairs Valens Colligo chipset (VS2310) with Lattice’s chipsets (SiI9630, a low-power HDMI 2.0 transmitter and SiI9396, a low-power HDMI 2.0 receiver), to deliver a turnkey reference design for HDMI 2.0 4K60 4:4:4 video for faster time to market.
