Power Products offer Horizon Electronics Power Supplies in the UK
P
ower Products International have entered into a partnership arrangement with Horizon Electronics to offer a standard range (COTS) of power supplies for harsh environments. The TITAN 3G Series of factory configurable IP67 housed AC- DC power supplies offers 500 standard options which can be tailored to specific project requirements. Six DC output options are available, ranging between 12V and 60V, with continuous power ratings from 1200 to 8400 Watts. AC Input variants include 115V or 230V Single and Three Phase, with options for higher output power at 200/208V or 400V three phase. Complying with EN61000 EMC and UL/EN 60950 Safety specifications, the power supplies are fitted with I/O circuit breakers, current limiter, over/under voltage and over temperature protection. An operating temperature range of -40°C to +70°C, altitude to 10,000 meters and high resilience to shock and vibration makes these power supplies entirely suitable for outdoor industrial, vehicular and field applications.

Light pipes for status display S
CHURTER improves upon a classic product: the new 6600-5 series IEC outlets are available with integrated light pipes. An intelligent, space and cost-saving solution for PDUs used in data centers and other multi- distributed power applications. The human need for information continues to expand at record pace, while continual advancements in information and communications technology (ICT), strive to keep pace with this demand. New data centers continually appear in the most unconventional of places to support this growing demand. These data centers are under constant pressure to improve upon efficiency and reliability under growing regulatory requirements to reduce energy use and cost. Meanwhile, the
demand for reliable transmission with increased speed must keep pace. At the base of this modern day economic demand and supply phenomena is an intelligent, reliable power supply and – at the base of that – a simple connector. SCHURTER is pleased to introduce its IEC outlets with integrated light pipes, which bring a simple yet improved solution to intelligent power distribution.

New High-Gloss STYLE-CASE Handheld Enclosures from OKW
STYLE-CASE is ideal for remote controls – notably in medical and social care but also in many household, office and industrial applications. Its modern high-gloss finish is pleasant to touch, imparts a high quality user experience and is also easy to keep clean. STYLE-CASE is assembled using tamper-proof Torx screws – an important feature for medical and wellness applications. Its operating panel is recessed to accommodate a membrane keypad or product label.
O
There is an integrated battery compartment for two 1.5V AA cells. It is accessible from the outside (via the bottom section) and features a screw-closed lid. The enclosures are moulded from high quality traffic white (RAL 9016) ASA for enhanced UV stability or black (RAL 9005) PMMA for infrared permeability. Both plastics are rated UL 94 HB for flammability.

DC Electronic Loads- Go High Performance New range of High Performance/ High Speed DC Electronic loads from Kikusui
T
he Kikusui PLZ-5W Series high performance/speed electronic load is the successor to the highly respected PLZ-4W series, whilst still retaining the same high specification and build quality. Advances include a high visibility colour display, low voltage operation from a minimum of 1 V to a maximum of 150 V (Lower Input voltage possible at reduced current). Programmable profiles of voltage/current can be applied (using the new ARB function, as used in LED/solar testing) in addition to the inherited 6 modes of operation: Constant Current, Constant Resistance, Constant Voltage, Constant Power, Constant Current + Constant
Voltage,
Resistance + Constant Voltage. Telonic Instruments

ven in a hot or cold spell, or if temperatures fluctuate, plastics enclosure specialist Fibox ensures that installations remain safely protected. Ventilation devices are a simple and efficient means for temperature and pressure compensation, while providing good basic ingress protection up to IP44. The rating can be increased to IP68 with a pressure equalizer plug. Both solutions effectively prevent condensation.
E If passive heat dissipation is
insufficient due to considerable thermal loss of installed devices or high ambient temperatures, fans can be installed. Notably, ARCA IEC polycarbonate enclosures allow for particularly easy fitting with installation openings. Fibox supplies the enclosures with adequate openings on request. A heating system can be installed for use in cold environments.
