A 10.1in IPS TFT display panel which is just 1.1mm thick, with a maximum overall thickness of 6.6mm including the frame, has been launched by Inelco Hunter. By integrating the touch sensor
directly into the LCD, the display is said to deliver superior optical performance with higher light transmittance and lower reflectance than traditional glass-on-glass touch panel solutions. The resolution is 1200 x 1920 RGB
pixels with 450 nits brightness (450cd/m2 ) and a full viewing angle, normally black. The
display has MIPI interface. The Mean Time Between Failures (MTBF) is 20,000 (25˚C, IF=80mA). The operating temperature is -20˚C to +70˚C and the drive IC is a IL79600A-XA (or compatible IC). The panel has overall dimensions of 248mm x 166mm. The 10.1in panel features IPS (In-Plane Switching) technology, providing excellent
colour accuracy, wide viewing angles, and consistent image quality. IPS technology aligns the liquid crystal molecules parallel to the display surface, enabling more efficient light transmission and superior viewing performance. Applications for the new display include compact home automation controllers,

EMERGENCY STOP BUTTONS WITH UP TO IPx9K PROTECTION
New to RAFI’s RAMO E series are the RAMO 22 E and RAMO 30 E emergency stop buttons with pull release. Emergency stop actuators are now available from the company up to IPx9K degree of protection on the front side, making them particularly suitable for high- pressure and steam-jet-cleaned applications. A new RAMO E PLUS 1 emergency stop
variant is also being added. This has three contacts so that, for example, in addition to two redundant contacts for safety applications, a signalling contact for position detection can also be assigned. The range extension is completed by RAMO E buttons with rotary release. In addition to the tried-and-tested 4- and 5-pole versions, both actuators are now also available as illuminated versions with an 8-pole, A-coded M12 connection. With maximum mounting depths of 30.2mm (RAMO 22)
or 36.4mm (RAMO 30), the emergency stop buttons, which are designed for mounting hole diameters of 22.3mm or 30.3mm, can be installed in a space-saving manner even where installation space is limited. Like the entire RAMO series, the emergency stop buttons are equipped with easy-to-install M12 plug terminals that reduce wiring work to a minimum. CONFIGURABLE DIGITAL I/O MODULE GIVES MACHINE BUILDERS GREATER FREEDOM TO DESIGN AROUND THE NEEDS OF THE APPLICATION
With automated machines becoming more capable, the amount of decentralised I/O required increases, but conventional approaches often rely on multiple dedicated input and output modules. To address this, Festo has introduced a configurable digital I/O module for the CPX-AP-I decentralised I/O platform. Designated CPX-AP-I-16DIO M12 (or M12 for short), the new module enables more efficient use of decentralised I/O across a machine. The new M12 configurable digital I/O module provides
16 channels that can each be configured as a digital input or digital output to match application requirements. Users can configure the module channel by channel, divide it into eight inputs and eight outputs, or configure all 16 channels as outputs. Selected output channels provide up to 500 mA for high-current devices. Themodule comes with a default 16-input
configuration for immediate installation and commissioning, while output functions are enabled through software parameterisation. LED indicators
on each channel simplify commissioning and troubleshooting. According to the company, the module gives machine builders greater freedom to design around the needs of the application instead of the limitations of fixed I/O modules. A single M12 module can support a wider range of machine configurations, reducing the number of module variants that must be specified, stocked and maintained over the life of a machine. The new module is part of Festo’s CPX-AP-I decentralised I/O platform, a high-performance system that distributes I/O, valve terminals, and IO-Link devices throughout a machine. The company has also introduced a new CPX-AP-I bus node
supporting CC-Link IE Field Basic, expanding the platform’s connectivity for Mitsubishi Electric Automation environments. Widely used throughout Asia, the industrial Ethernet protocol enables machine builders to integrate CPX-AP-I decentralised I/O into Mitsubishi PLC architectures without additional gateways or custom engineering.
