This super speedy cure doesn’t make ET503 any less tough, however.
In fact, quite the opposite is true – it develops outstanding strength and toughness and offers excellent environmental durability compared to other adhesives in its class. It actively resists water (including salt water), moisture and humidity, and will even fully cure at temperatures as low as 5˚C, showcasing its ideal suitability for outdoor applications. ET503 bonds well to many substrates, including woods, metals, ceramics and some plastics (including ABS and polycarbonate.) The adhesive flows quickly when dispensed and is thixotropic, and cures fully tack- free in a smart, dove grey finish. It can be subsequently sanded and painted over should you wish, offering great design flexibility. Other recent developments from Permabond include a UV adhesive
