According to Yan Simard, CEO of Kognitiv Spark, there is a shortfall of around 173,000 workers in STEM sectors. However, MR could be used as a tool to enable junior workers to pick up skills from senior team members. He said: “MR can be used as a training tool, external to the sterile confines of the classroom. It is a real-world way of ensuring vital workplace skills are transferred within the company, building resilience, agility and reducing the expense of hiring workers who trained elsewhere.” Turn to page 12 for the full story.
