TECHNOLOGY IN ACTION ADVERTORIAL

Southern Springs and Pressings Ltd S

SP will be showcasing some of their most popular products at the Southern Manufacturing and Electronics

Southern Manufacturing Farnborough, 21st – 23rd March 2017

TECHNOMELT® and TEROSON® products can benefit the entire value chain. Whether the task is in system building, assembly or repair,

A these

engineering adhesives, sealants and functional coatings improve performance and cut costs. Core technologies including thread locking,

sealing, gasketing, retaining, instant and structural bonding, will be demonstrated using the latest product introductions.

Regardless of which

substrates are chosen and the conditions that prevail, if it’s technically possible, Henkel can provide the most appropriate solution. Continuous development across the range has now led to products that are more tolerant of contamination, able to support a wider range of operating temperatures and therefore be applied to a greater number of tasks.

show. Investing heavily in the business, SSP have purchased new equipment and machinery, to ensure they continue to provide their customers with the most innovative and cost- effective methods of production. With a new de-burring machine delivered in 2016, which will allow SSP to achieve high value-added surface improvements to their products and a new inspection department is now in operation. 2017 will see even more investment and development with a new automated monitoring IT system. The “flat pressings” part of SSP`s manufacturing abilities has seen a large increase in long-term orders resulting in a new production line being installed in March. SSP will be exhibiting at Stand Number M116 and they look forward to seeing you there.

Programmable linear Hall-effect sensor IC T

The new device uses segmented,

he new A1377 from Allegro MicroSystems Europe is a programmable linear Hall-effect sensor IC designed for applications that require high accuracy and high resolution without compromising bandwidth.

linearly

interpolated temperature compensation technology which greatly reduces the total error of the device across the whole temperature range. As a result, it is ideally suited to linear and rotary position in automotive applications such as actuators and valves.

The A1377 is available in a through-hole, small form factor, single in-line package (SIP) and has a broad

range of sensitivities and offset operating bandwidths. The accuracy and flexibility of this device is enhanced with user programmability, via the supply voltage (Vcc)and output pins, which allows it to be optimised to the application.

Allegro u +33 (0) 4 50512359 FL 10 – new liquid transfer pump KNF’s well-proven diaphragm technology,

makes handling sensitive fluids easier and safer. There is no pollution by abrasives, unlike gear pumps. Chemically aggressive fluids are handled by using different materials in line with customer requirements. In contrast to peristaltic pumps, the FL 10 does not require tubes to be exchanged. This results in maintenance-free pumps over the whole lifetime of at least 10,000 hours.

The pump delivers 100ml/min against atmospheric pressure and can be operated up to 0.5 bar.

To register your interest in the FL10 pump - see us at Southern Manufacturing – Stand G139 or contact us at info@knf.co.uk.

Features and benefits K

NF introduces at this year’s Southern Manufacturing exhibition the new FL 10

diaphragm pump with linear drive for OEM customers. With a nominal liquid flow rate of 100ml/min, the FL 10 features bi-directional flow-tightness, IP 65 protection, a long and maintenance-free lifetime, and other cost-saving attributes. The FL 10 pump is flow-tight in both directions in off-mode,

making additional valves

superfluous, thus saving on costs. The linear drive FL10 has sealing between the pump housing and the drive ensuring fail-safe operation, so liquid is kept away from other areas of the system. IP65 protection suitable for operation in demanding conditions such as wet or dusty areas.

• Flow-tight in both directions • IP65

• Linear flow rate adjustment • Fail-safe operation due to sealing between pump housing and linear drive

• Calibrated during assembly for high repeatability

• Clean, gentle transportation of sensitive liquids • Chemically resistant options available • Long lifetime and maintenance-free • Offers cost-saving potential
