SOUTHERN MANUFACTURING and Electronics returns to FIVE

Southern Manufacturing & Electronics returns to FIVE, Farnborough, on 21 to 23 March 2017. The move from its traditional February slot, to new, more convenient dates in early Spring, together with significant improvements to the show’s site, will greatly enhance the visitor experience

T

he 2016 exhibition attracted more than 8,600 visitors, setting a record

for the event. With enhanced accessibility, and investment in local infrastructure nearing completion, the organisers expect to see a further increase in visitor numbers for 2017. Conveniently located adjacent to the M3 in Hampshire, and well-served by public transport, the show is a chance to discover a wide range of companies and industrial technologies in a single, time- efficient visit. Divided more or less equally between

Electronics and Manufacturing, the show plays host to an enormous variety of manufacturers, vendors and service providers. In 2016, a little over 800 companies from all over the world showcased their wares in the 18,000m² venue - larger than five halls of the NEC combined. Among the most popular attractions for visitors, and accounting for almost 50 per cent in 2016, components and OEM parts are one of the key features of the show. Southern Manufacturing attracts vendors from all over the world, offering an opportunity
