modular wiring system and a variety of

the company’s GST products for Project Hana, a two floor CAT B fit out commercial property at St Martin’s Court in the City of London in a prime location next to St Pauls Cathedral. The Wieland products were specified and installed by Phoenix ME Ltd with the Metalynx2

consultants. The document presents an overview of the most important elements in designing a humidification project. It covers topics such as AHU vs inroom strategy, psychrometrics, product sizing, technology selection, installation and hygiene management. Dave MarshallGeorge, Sales Director at Condair, commented, “We are

H

delighted to publish this accessible guide to humidification for specifiers and consultants. It comprehensively walks a designer through, from the initial psychrometric calculations, to considerations around commissioning and maintenance. It includes some very useful rules of thumb and will prompt a consultant to review important aspects of a project they may not have otherwise considered.” Dave continues, “The illustrated guide covers humidification of both air handling units and direct room humidity control, comparing all types of humidifier technology. The comprehensive advice it presents is unbiased and has been developed from experience across thousands of projects by Condair’s expert sales and service teams.” The Condair Group is the world’s leading specialist in humidification

and evaporative cooling, with energy efficient, hygienic and innovative technologies for commercial, industrial and heritage applications. Condair is represented in the UK by Condair plc, which offers system design, manufacture, supply, installation, commissioning, maintenance and spares. challenges of installing MMA deck coatings in cold weather conditions in Barnsley. Due to lockdown restrictions, the project was pushed into the colder months. Top deck coatings consisting of a total of 2,514 m2 and internal deck coatings consisting of 15,089m2 were installed during the period July 2020 to May 2021 at The Glass Works Barnsley Council's flagship retail, leisure and community development that is transforming Barnsley town centre. Barnsley is a large traditional market and college town in South Yorkshire, England. StructureCare was appointed as a specialist sub

contractor by Henry Boot Construction to install specialist deck coatings and movement joints throughout the new multistorey car park, which has space for over 500 vehicles. The selected system is locallyreinforced incorporating a fleece to accommodate the dynamic movement and cracking in higher risk areas leading to a completely durable solution. StructureCare also installed specially designed stainless steel ACO drainage as an integral part of the deck waterproofing system.

entAxia is offering eight easy steps to help protect children from indoor air pollution on Clean Air Day on

Thursday, 17th June 2021. Clean Air Day is led by environmental charity Global Action Plan and aims to improve public understanding of air pollution, build awareness of how air pollution affects our health and explain the easy actions we can all take to tackle air pollution, helping protect the environment and our health. This year’s event is focussing on

protecting children's health from air pollution, especially following the hard times many experienced during the pandemic. Therefore VentAxia is providing some easytofollow steps as part of its

ongoing commitment to sharing its knowledge of how ventilation and air purification can help protect public health. The COVID19 pandemic has impacted

children severely, affecting their freedom, education and mental wellbeing. As society opens up and children return to their lives, it’s vital that they can learn and play in healthy environments. This Clean Air Day, good Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) is more important than ever since COVID19 has highlighted the importance of ventilation and the air we breathe, while children have spent more time indoors due to lockdowns. VentAxia is therefore offering eight easy

steps to ‘reduce, dilute and purify’ to help tackle indoor air pollution and improve IAQ in the home: 1. Avoid spraying aerosols 2. Use unscented candles 3. Vacuum regularly 4. Dry wet clothes outside or in a dryer 5. Use a cooker hood 6. Don’t forget to ventilate 7. Use an air purifier 8. Clean fan filters To find out more, visit the website.

Circoflo’s largest UK distributor opens new warehouse A

warehouse in Warrington, constructed to its own exacting specifications during the past year, has consolidated E Tupling’s

position as the country’s largest stockist of Circoflo products as well as underlining the family run enterprise’s commitment to being the leading distributor of underfloor heating systems to independent merchants across the UK.

Established by Ernest Tupling at Irlam in

Lancashire back in 1966, E Tupling has grown to become a key supply chain partner for merchants who need greater flexibility than most manufacturers of plastic plumbing and underfloor heating systems can provide. In addition to creating the new 25,000 sq. ft. warehouse employing 26 people, E Tupling has invested heavily in its ecommerce offering, including the availability of a specially tailored Click & Collect service for the different brands it stocks.

Managing Director, Tim Whitehead,

commented: “E Tupling have been on an incredible journey over the past 12 months, we have grown considerably and are constantly striving for continual business improvement in order to serve our valued merchant partners in the best ways possible. We have made several operational enhancements enabling us to improve the ways in which we represent the

Circoflo brand, whilst optimising exposure and awareness of the product ranges and brand identity. Circoflo is one of our most valued suppliers and we are proud to distribute its products.” The Group Sales Director for Circoflo, Brendan

Hourican, added: “As a specialist distributor of underfloor heating systems supplying customers from the Scottish Borders down to the Midlands, E Tupling has become our biggest distributor. Crucially, it is a family run business which takes pride in owning an enquiry, to ensure it is fulfilled to the customer’s satisfaction. “I’ve known of E Tupling throughout my

career, so had no hesitation in approaching them when I took up my role with Circoflo. They make the perfect supply partner: having their own fleet of vehicles as well as a sophisticated ‘Click and Collect’ service and in addition to the stocks of our products carried in the new warehouse, Tupling will also make up housespecific packs for customers. “ As part of the Exeter based Ridgespear Group,

Circoflo supplies six systems – including options for in screed, in joist or retrofit – all of which utilise the same 12mm pipe, available in coils of 60, 80 or 100 metres and always designed at 133mm centres to futureproof the system to work efficiently with renewable technology such as air source heat pumps.

and industrial applications SPX Cooling Technologies Inc. has

released details of its expanded MH Fluid Cooler line, designed to meet an even more diverse range of applications. The MH Fluid Cooler is now available with three coil materials, each delivering its own advantages. The most recent innovation, the MH

ElementTM Fluid Cooler, is equipped with copper coils. Copper offers superior corrosion resistance and improved heat transfer. Compared with traditional HDG coil fluid coolers, copper coil requires 35% less fluid volume, and cooler operating weight is reduced by 20%. Copper is also sustainable, with a high recycle value at the end of its operational life. Other MH Fluid Coolers are available with coils of either HDG (hot

dip galvanised) steel or stainless steel. HDG steel offers good thermal performance in a closed and pressurised system. Models with stainless steel coils use larger coil surface area to achieve results and are often utilised in coastal regions and applications prone to corrosion. One of the most efficient closedcircuit cooling towers in its class, the MH Fluid Cooler is a hybrid system that combines the functionality of a cooling tower and a heat exchanger. Utilizing a combination of evaporative fill media and prime surface coils, the MH Fluid Cooler offers significantly improved performance over conventional nonhybrid systems.
