Test & measurement

is the increasing adoption of electric vehicles (EVs). With the widespread embrace of EVs, testing and certification services for EV components play a critical role in ensuring their safety and functionality.

Another trend in the market is the growing demand for advanced testing and inspection techniques. As automotive technology becomes more sophisticated, traditional testing methods may not be sufficient to ensure product performance and safety. This drives the need for innovative test solutions. Fully electric car cruising range and charging time have always been critical issues for major EV manufacturers. Due to differences in materials and architectures, the characteristics of EV batteries will have different life, temperature, capacity, and discharge curves in practical operation. When debugging a system in the lab, it frequently requires a power supply to simulate the characteristics of a high-voltage battery pack and validate the logic performance of the VCU (vehicle controller unit). The role that ITECH plays in high-voltage debugging is to test automotive high-voltage components, motors, electric drives, and charging sequence and charging process, etc.

ITECH provides test equipment and automated test solutions for testing AC and DC charging stations, charging interfaces, power trains, batteries, and various automotive electronic devices of EVs. The solutions include battery test systems, charging equipment test and simulation systems, battery simulators, grid simulators, bi-directional DC power supplies, regenerative AC/DC loads and professional software, which greatly saves users’ time and cost in research and testing.

igitalisation and increasing automation are revolutionising every industry, and the automotive landscape is no exception. One of the latest trends in the automotive market
