NEW INTERFACES ARE NOW AVAILABLE FOR LSOC AND LSOP INCLINOMETERS

N

ew interfaces are now available for Sherborne

Sensors LSOC and LSOP inclinometers including +/-5V, +/-10V, 0-10V and 4-20mA.

The LSO is a high precision gravity referenced servo inclinometer that can be used for a wide variety of industrial and military applications. Models are available in a variety of angular ranges each with low impedance output signals. Electrical terminations are via 6-way bayonet lock connector (LSOC) or solder pins (LSOP). It is extremely robust and will withstand shocks in excess of 1500g. The design is well proven with many thousands in use throughout the world in the most demanding of applications.

NEW PRECISION DIGITAL PRESSURE GAUGE FROM WIKA

E

xtended measuring ranges, large data logger, wireless functionality and streamlined menu

operation: With the model CPG1500, WIKA has launched an improved precision digital pressure gauge with an appealing price/performance ratio. The new calibration and test instrument has

been designed for versatile use. The CPG1500 covers pressure ranges up to 0 … 1,000 bar and measures with an accuracy of up to 0.05 % of span. Its data logger can record up to 50 measured values per second. The data is transmitted wirelessly and can be processed using the WIKACal software. Further functionality, such as min/max memory or integrated temperature measurement, enhances the performance range. The new menu structure of the CPG1500 enables a quicker intuitive input for all parameters. A 5½- digit display with bargraph and a large text field supports the analysis of measuring points on site.

electronic protective device are able to withstand frequent cleaning with water, alkali solutions, foam, hot steam or high-pressure jets. The locking caps, cable inlet and fastening parts are

manufactured in stainless steel (V4A) while polycarbonate transparent protective tubes offer resistance to cleaning agents and can withstand strong mechanical loads. Other functions of the SLC/SLG 440 IP69K line

include double confirmation, contactor control and integrated beam blanking, as well as a dirt indicator. A warning is displayed if the sensor reception signal becomes weaker allowing for action to be taken before the machine comes to an unscheduled standstill.

EASY PARAMETERIZATION WITH SMARTPHONE APP AND SMI

T

he Sensor Master Interface SMI is used to set parameters of electronic pressure switches

such as switching points, output function and switching delay time as well as to adjust the measuring range of submersible pressure transmitters. By reading the device data, the connected pressure measurement device can be precisely identified and the parameters can be checked. Until now, electronic pressure switches with

different device configurations had to be kept in stock. In addition, optimization during system development was quite complex. The Sensor Master Interface (SMI) and the associated Smartphone App Sensor Master Communicator (SMC) eliminate these circumstances: The electronic pressure switch to be configured is connected to the SMI. Afterwards, the parameters can be easily and conveniently adjusted using the SMC app when the Bluetooth connection on the smartphone is working.

museums, galleries and storerooms to be made easily, thereby ensuring artefacts are kept in a suitably maintained environment. Energy costs can be reduced where energy usage is excessive. It is also suitable for cleanrooms, climate chambers and industrial applications. The HP32 handheld has an interchangeable probe input for all Rotronic HC2- series probes, full logging & spot-value recording functions and much more. As well as temperature and humidity values, two other moisture parameters such as dew point and g/kg moisture for example can be displayed on the LC screen simultaneously. The handheld replaces the Rotronic HP22 model.
