ACCURATE DEW POINT MEASUREMENT - 100°C TO +20°C

T

he S 230 from SUTO-iTEC GmbH employs a new and unique dual sensor cell to

provide accurate dew point measurement over the range of -100 to +20°C. The dual sensor technology optimises sensor sensitivity and accuracy, matching the best sensor element for the measured range at any moment. The compact design of the sensor is

integrated with analogue 4-20mA and digital RS-485 (Modbus RTU) output capability making it suitable for interfacing to any industrial system. The S 230 dew point sensor also offers both ATEX and IECEx certification for installation in potentially explosive atmospheres and the rugged aluminium housing with IP67 ingress protection is standard regardless of whether certified for hazardous area duty or not. The G½” stainless steel process connection simplifies installation and there is a dedicated measuring chamber as an alternate option.

8TH GENERATION COFFEE LAKE CPU PACKS A PUNCH IN 4K VIDEO SYSTEMS

T

he latest addition to BVM Limited’s comprehensive portfolio of industrial

grade Mini-ITX embedded SBCs is the extremely powerful and fully-featured LV- 67W, which is based on Intel’s latest 8th Generation 14 nm Coffee Lake H Series Core i7/i5/i3 processors in the FCBGA1440 socket. The i5 and i7 versions feature 6- core processors, offering 12 threads for applications such as digital signage, retail transaction terminals kiosks, smart cities and health care where high performance processing and graphics are required. Based on the QM70 chipset, the Coffee Lake processors offer higher CPU and graphics performance than the previous 7th generation with a thermal design power (TDP) rating of just 45W. Up to 32GB of DDR4 memory can be fitted. The integrated UHD Graphics supports three independent displays with 4k resolution each, and comes with hardware-based video encoding and decoding up to 4k.

NEW ROUND PLASTIC ENCLOSURES FOR IOT AND INDUSTRY 4.0 ELECTRONICS

R

OLEC’s new technoDISC is available in four sizes. ROLEC has launched technoDISC – a unique round

plastic enclosure for industrial electronics. It is based on the firm’s successful aluDISC diecast aluminium housings. The new technoDISC cases are UV-stable and sealed

to IP 66 (IP 67 optional), making them ideal for Industry 4.0 and IoT applications both indoors and outside. The round design integrates visually when used in applications such as industrial pipework, shipboard equipment, vehicles etc. These ‘go anywhere’ enclosures can be fitted to walls,

bulkheads, machines – even when closed (protecting the seal and electronics during installation). Clip-on POM (polyoxymethylene) trims cover all the fixing and mounting screws. New technoDISC’s smart design was inspired by the shape of a wristwatch, combining

round aesthetics with flat surfaces to enable the mounting of cable glands and controls. The lid is recessed to accommodate a round membrane keypad or product label.
