Learn how a switch to robots could help transform your competitiveness

Fulton’s VSRT continues to impress the judges

its radical, world-first design that is durable, long-lasting and boasts the highest efficiencies and ultra-low NOx emissions as standard, it’s also catching the eye of those judging product and innovation awards. At the recent Institute of Gas Engineers and Managers’

(IGEM) Gas Industry Awards 2019 at the London Hilton on Park Lane, Fulton’s VSRT continued its winning streak by claiming the Product of the Year award, the vertical steam boiler’s third award in six months. Commenting for Fulton, managing director Carl Knight

says: “The double-award-winning VSRT becomes a multi- award-winning steam boiler and we couldn’t be more delighted with this Product of the Year award”

aunched in 2018, Fulton’s VSRT steam boiler is unlike anything the industry has seen before. And because of

f you’ve ever considered adding robots to your production line but don’t know where to start, then ABB’s Switch to Robots

seminar could be exactly what you need. Taking place at ABB’s Milton Keynes training site on Tuesday 2nd July 2019, the seminar will provide a simple step-by-step guide to introducing robotic automation to the factory floor. Starting with the question ‘how do you know if you need a

robot?’, the event will cover the key aspects of developing, specifying and financing a robotic installation. ABB will demonstrate how to develop the right solution for your needs, and how to calculate the potential return on investment that can be achieved in different types of applications. New PoE verifier eliminates guesswork when installing PoE devices

DEAL Networks has launched a new handheld tester that eliminates guesswork when installing, maintaining and troubleshooting PoE devices and data cabling. PoE Pro

measures and reports PoE Class, voltage/voltage drop, watts and injector Type, making it easy to see how much power is available. “The new PoE Pro eliminates trial and error when installing or troubleshooting PoE

systems,” says Tim Widdershoven, Marketing Director from UK technology firm IDEAL Networks. “Installers can now accurately measure the maximum power available to PoE devices in any installation.” Power over Ethernet (PoE) is used to power VoIP phones, smart lighting systems, CCTV,

digital signage, Wi-Fi access points, intercoms, sensors and much more. As PoE continues to grow, technicians need fast, accurate PoE validation to eliminate guesswork and get the job done faster.

Free site visit and quotation for energy efficient facility cooling S

ome of the largest manufacturers in the UK are installing EcoCooling evaporative cooling systems to combat rising

temperatures. Reacting to a record-breaking hot summer, they are preparing their facilities to provide the most comfortable and cool environments for staff, products and machinery. The equipment is around 60% of the capital cost of

refrigeration while only 10% of the operational cost, making it one of the most cost-effective ways to cool large spaces. EcoCooling’s systems incorporate evaporative cooling and

ventilation technology, eliminating the need for refrigerants - guaranteeing temperatures below 23C all year round in the UK. GO Outdoors, TK Maxx, Net-a-Porter, Cummins, Siemens and many

more are benefiting from the effects of evaporative cooling, improving productivity and saving ££££ as well as the planet. A free site visit and quotation make it easy to see the projected cost savings for your facility. Just call: 01284 810586

More Speedor Storms W

Sensata Technologies to Showcase New

Pressure Sensors and Switches at Sensor + Test 2019 in Germany

orking for a haulage company specialising in waste disposal, Hart Door Systems has completed the installation of two Speedor

Storms at a Midlands facility. The two fast-action Speedors were installed to minimise the escape of

dust and smells as well as keeping out birds and rodents. “The fast action allows for a quick arrival and tipping of waste within a closed harsh environment so reducing the chance of smells leaving the building,” says a Hart spokesman. “Both Storms were supplied with heated motor hoods and IP66

electrical control panels to combat moisture and the largest door was 8m high and 6m wide. It is our reputation for our capability of delivering reliable, very large, high-speed automatic doors for the waste industry that leads to contracts such as this.”

is featuring its extensive range of pressure sensors and switches for use in boiler, pump and HVAC applications at Sensor + Test from June 25 – 27. Highlighted in the exhibit will be Sensata’s new 116CP

Pressure Sensor, which features a patented design derived from automotive grade pressure sensing technology. The cost-efficient 116CP leverages the same proven

technology as the 60/70CP, but in an innovate plastic housing that makes it ideal for residential and other lower cost pump applications. The 116CP is offered in a wide range of configurations

including various pressure ports, electrical outs and pressure ranges from between 0-4 to 0-16 bar.
