This month we introduce our newest feature, dedicated solely to AI. As we evaluated our 2026 editorial calendar, we recognised the growing need to hone in on the specifics of AI in the Electrical Engineering space, as well as the impact of it on an industry, such as publishing. Finding the delicate balance between embracing AI as an essential tool within the electronics industry, and preventing it from tarnishing our editorial integrity is a task we are only now being faced with in the last few years. So what are we doing about it? At Electrical Engineering, we work with the best names in the electronics industry to collaborate on editorial that reflects our current industry to inform you, the reader. Whilst we champion the use of AI in Engineering, and recognise that it is an aid that is transforming the way the electrical industry is performing. We, as a publication that prides itself on quality and accurately written content, believe it is integral that we champion evolution, but regulate its impact on human content. With that in mind, we can’t wait to see what 2026 will bring the Electical Engineering and publishing industries.
