LEDVANCE ADDS FLEXIBLE STRIP LIGHTING SYSTEM

requirements of factories, workshops and warehouses. Consisting of mounting rails and flat linear lighting inserts, the new flexible trunking

N

system TruSys offers energy saving lighting for large areas. The lighting inserts can be easily clicked into place either as a continuous or intermittent lighting strip and mounted on the ceiling surface or suspended. The TruSys family of products from LEDVANCE can be installed in rows of up to 81 luminaries, achieving an overall length of 124 metres, making them ideal for large industrial spaces. The exclusive ‘Scale’ luminaire design is also used for the TruSys family with its highquality and lightweight anodised aluminum housing. The mounting brackets are recessed in the rails and therefore almost invisible from the outside which adds to TruSys’ clean appearance, and internal holders keep the luminaire in place whilst being mounted. With a luminous efficacy of 135 lumen per watt, they are very energy efficient. All versions of the TruSys family are available in warm

white, cool white or daylight colour temperatures to help create the ideal working conditions.

THE V8 MOTOR: BETTER FAN EFFICIENCY T

he benefits of EC technology are widely known and Axair Fans aim to

maximise these by combining high power and low speed. The high power EC motor known in the industry as the ‘V8 motor’ is an external rotor motor with input power up to 300W manufactured by Axair’s supplier partner Ecofit. For existing customers, the V8 motor replaces the L4 motor, with the advantage of higher power at a lower speed enabling a better overall efficiency. Previously, the external rotor motor collection consisted of the G9 with input power to 150W, and L4 models enabling a motor power rating up to 250W. The new addition increases the options available from the Ecofit range to 300W, with a built in feature that enables the user to maintain constant pressure and constant volume (depending on individual project requirements). The inclusion of this built-in software offers a method of detecting fan failure monitoring in many H&V applications including fan coil units. With this on board system, Building Management Systems can constantly monitor air handling systems that are on

SCHAFFNER INTRODUCES ECOSINE ACTIVE SYNC SERIES

harmonics mitigation solutions. ecosine active sync uses technology to reliably mitigate excessive harmonics with an evolutionary modular product concept. With the new ecosine active sync filters FN3530/31/40/41,

a network and prevent the inconvenience of poor and non-existent flow within a system ducting. As with the majority of Axair’s product

range, the V8 motor surpasses ERP requirements and the Ecofit V8 motor is now added to the specification build of backward curved impellers, forward curved single inlet fans up to 200mm diameter and forward curved double inlet fans to 180mm, both with the option of specific software coding to monitor constant pressure and constant airflow without the need for an additional sensor or control.

FN3532/42 and FN3545, Schaffner’s offerings are now complete and total solutions, especially for mixed load and dynamic load profiles. By deploying ecosine active sync filters it is possible to achieve a THID ≤ 5 per cent. They also guarantee compliance with the toughest requirements of IEEE-519 and other stringent international power quality standards, while being the most effective and compact active harmonic filters available in the market. The filters demonstrate excellent performance over an extended temperature range (power module 0 - 50°C full performance, up to 55°C with derating). With the installation of the new ecosine active sync filters, harmonic current mitigation, reactive power compensation as well as load balancing, can be efficiently achieved and international power quality standards complied with. With their modular concept ecosine active sync filters

offer a unique market leading flexibility, which enables optimal customer-tailored solutions. ecosine active sync filter systems can be easily installed as wall-mount devices based on 60Arms power modules. These modules are available in IP20 and IP21 protection class and in 3-phase 3-wire and 3-phase 4-wire configurations. Two power modules in a master-slave architecture can be configured as a dedicated solution for 120Arms. The Double Power Pack (DPP) offers real 120Arms without derating up to+ 50°C. For higher current ratings, up to 5 ecosine active sync power modules can be connected in parallel to mitigate harmonic current up to 300Arms. This can be done either as a wall- mount solution or within Schaffner’s new IP54 air-cooled cabinet. Aligning product offerings with international market requirements and customer expectations, the new Schaffner modular filters ensure tailored solutions and optimal fit for demanding applications and networks. ecosine active sync filters are simple to install and maintain and are fully integrated in Schaffner’s online power quality simulator the SchaffnerPQS3.
