Dan Migliozzi to head up sales in UK and Europe at Invar Group I
nvar Group, the leading independent software developer and integrator of advanced warehouse automation, has appointed seasoned business development and project implementation specialist, Dan Migliozzi, to the role of head of sales. He has taken responsibility for leading Invar Group’s sales and solution design functions in both the UK and Europe.
Mr Migliozzi brings has 10 years of sales and management experience in
the automation industry. He has managed both national and international projects for a number of tier 1, blue-chip organisations. He said: “This is an exciting time to be involved in warehouse automation and robotics. Many new, innovative technologies are becoming available that can transform warehouse operations, providing the flexibility and scalability that businesses are looking for when faced with capacity and labour resource issues.
“I’m excited to be part of Invar Group’s management team and to be working with clients on delivering best- practice solutions.”

Edwin James Group appoints Alison Bettany as procurement director

An experienced supply chain and sustainability professional, Ms Bettany will be responsible for leading the company’s procurement function and shaping the group supply chain strategy.

(FCIPS) and a CIPS Mentor, Ms Bettany is also the former chair of the award- winning FM Supply Chain Sustainability School, which leads the industry in Sustainable Procurement. Mike Hill appointed president of global sales at Danfoss Power Solutions
anfoss Power Solutions, a leading global supplier of mobile and industrial hydraulics as well as electric powertrain systems, has appointed Mike Hill as the president of global sales. Previously senior vice president of OEM sales, Mr Hill will continue to serve as a key member of the Power Solutions leadership team and continue reporting directly to Eric Alström, president of Danfoss Power Solutions. He is based in Clifton Park, New York.

In this role, Mr Hill will be responsible for leading both the OEM sales and distribution sales teams under one organisation.
Mr Hill said: “I am happy to bring two passionate, experienced sales teams together under a simple, streamlined leadership structure. It is important we maintain focus on the distinct OEM and distribution sales channels and continue to work hard to better serve our customers and partners.
Mr Alström added: “Over the past few years, Mike has brought operational focus and rigor to the sales organisation, while developing commercial talent and managing customer relationships as we worked through significant supply chain challenges in a high inflationary environment.”
RS Group appoints Simon Pryce as CEO R
S Group plc has appointed Simon Pryce to the role of chief executive and executive director. Mr Pryce is a highly experienced business leader of customer focused, global industrial manufacturing and service businesses. He has a strong track record of driving results and delivering excellent stakeholder outcomes through enhanced

performance and the effective execution of organic and inorganic growth strategies. Most recently, Simon was chief executive of Ultra Electronic Holdings plc for over four years which was acquired by Advent in August 2022. Prior to this, he was Group Chief Executive at BBA Aviation plc for 10 years and previously held a range of
international finance and management roles.
Mr Pryce said: “RS is a business that I have admired both as a board member, and indirectly as a customer, for some time. “However, what excites me most is the significant potential of this group, with its great people and culture.”
