work done, but also work on dismantling many beliefs women have had to live with, which is why empowering women in the workplace is fundamental. It’s been observed that gender diversity brings more innovation to companies. On the other side, women who are seen and heard are also able to create programs in the L&D space that support women leaders throughout the entire workplace journey.” There’s an argument here to say that communities outside the workplace, like WomenIn, can begin to connect women to new ideas, skills and opportunities that actually enhance their internal capabilities – or, on the flipside of that, make them realise their experiences are better suited to more inclusive organisations. Either way, change is needed in how organisations support female employees, because while many

businesses may show good intent, the proof really is in the pudding. That’s why– for me at least – WomenIn has to show true impact rather than simply the unification around a common concern.

Looking to the future If we look ahead another 18 months, where will WomenIn be? What larger- scale change might have happened? One thing is for sure – we’ll all be in it together. WomenIn has proven that creating a dedicated space for women in the L&D, HR and people spaces can drive substantial and meaningful change. By fostering a supportive community, we have not only connected individuals but also empowered them to achieve professional milestones and advocate for gender equality. As we look to the future, I urge all women in the sector to join us,

share their experiences, and contribute to our collective growth. Together, we can continue to break down barriers, champion diversity, and create a truly inclusive professional landscape. Let’s not just anticipate change – let’s be the change we want to see.

Join WomenIn today and be part of this transformative journey.n
