Welcome...
9 & 10 December 2020 Summit
...to The World of Learning Summit virtual event (9 & 10 December). So, how has Learning & Development evolved during the Covid-19 crisis, and what does the future hold? L&D’s response to Covid-19 has led to far-reaching change, widespread innovation and rapid transformation. But with that change comes unprecedented challenges and disruption. There has never been a more important time for the industry to meet, share learning and prepare for the year ahead.
This year’s summit presents the unique opportunity to pause and reflect, collaborate, share, network and continue your own learning and personal development at this crucial time. See full details of the event starting on page 7.
In the main hall you will find an array of learning solutions and services. Experts will be on hand to answer your questions and help you. Use the chat functionality to network and access immediate assistance.
Headlining the two-day conference, John Ameachi OBE will be interviewed by Robin Hoyle on everything from leadership and building high-performance teams, to inclusion and resilience. John is a respected organisational psychologist, a best- selling New York Times author and a research fellow at the University of East London.
Speakers will also explore crucial, non-Covid related challenges. As Robin Hoyle, conference co-chair, says, “We have all had to change, but not everything is up for grabs – nor should it be.” The core challenges in L&D remain, only now viewed through a different lens.
There are also lots of great free seminars and workshops, plus topic-led chat rooms tackling issues ranging from remote working to compassionate leadership
Throughout the event, you’ll earn points for exploring and meeting your own learning goals. There is a wide range of prizes up for grabs for L&D and HR professionals. Ranging from an Oculus Quest 2, to complimentary trials on learning software and free access to courses. Click on the cup icon in the top right-hand corner of your screen for more info.
We’re delighted to bring you a truly unique and inspiring event that will help you plan for 2021 and beyond.
