These companies support the collection and re-refining of waste oils into high-quality base oils for the lubricant market across Europe. . 12.2 PoisonCenters


Poison centres play a vital role in managing chemical emergencies, including those involving hazardous mixtures like waste oils. Under the EU Classification, Labelling, and Packaging (CLP) Regulation, companies are required to notify poison centres about hazardous mixtures placed on the market. This information enables poison centres to provide accurate and timely advice in case of exposure incidents. The ECHA maintains a list of nationally appointed bodies and provides guidance on notification procedures.
