TANNLIN ANNOUNCES COLLABORATION

GF MACHINING ACQUIRED


With the acquisition of the GF Machining Solutions Division of Georg Fischer AG, the UNITED GRINDING Group expands its portfolio to 15 brands. The new group operates under the name UNITED MACHINING SOLUTIONS and has become one of the largest machine tool manufacturers in the world.

AEROTECH'S NEW COLLABORATION


Aerotech Inc. announced that it is collaborating with Light Conversion in a new, state-of-the-art 4,300 square foot R&D facility located in Sunnyvale, California. Aerotech is supplying a custom laser scanning and motion control system for use in high-precision applications.

SLOWING GLOBAL ECONOMY HITS TRUMPF


The global economic slowdown has resulted in lower revenue at TRUMPF. The company recently presented figures for the fiscal year 2024/25 - revenue was down by 16% to 4.3 billion euros, with order intake down by 7% to 4.2 billion euros. However, Nicola Leibinger-Kammüller, CEO of TRUMPF, said the company is seeing cautious signs of improvement.

NEW STRATEGIC APPROACH FOR LASEA


The LASEA Group has announced its strategic approach to the aeronautics and defence sectors, by promoting unique expertise: the functionalisation of surfaces by femtosecond lasers. Thanks to its ultrafast lasers, LASEA is developing surface texturising solutions on a nano- and micrometric scale.
