DANIEL ORPI: PASIÓN IMPARABLE


Criado a las afueras de Barcelona, un lugar impregna- do de arte, un jóven Daniel Orpi encontró inspiración en el hip hop y el graffiti a una edad muy temprana. Con cada expresión artística con la que se iba encontrando, se fueron sembrando las semillas de lo que se conver- tiría en un viaje musical tan lleno de fuerza que hoy es prácticamente imparable.


Unos años después, Daniel se mudó a Londres, una ciudad vibrante donde las influencias musicales se entrelazan en cada esquina. Allí, Orpi absorbió y com- prendió la esencia de la ciudad, ampliando su horizonte creativo y forjando las conexiones que le dieron identi- dad a su sonido.


Con su estilo distintivo y mezclas arriesgadas, Daniel cautivó al público de todo el mundo y las leyendas que él siempre admiró se convirtieron en colegas al compartir escenario con él. Artistas como Marco Carola, Seth Troxler y The Martinez Brothers, comen- zaron a tocar sus tracks y fue en ese momento cuando Daniel pasó de ser un chico con sueños extraordinarios, a un artista influyente abriéndose paso por una industria que lo acogió por su carácter, personalidad y sobre todo, su talento para crear y mezclar tracks verdaderamente inolvidables.

EL DÍA A DÍA


Para Daniel, cada día comienza temprano en el estudio. Entre la creación de música, el trabajo administrativo y la gestión de su sello discográfico, Diggin’ Records, su jornada está llena de actividades que demandan atención y dedicación.


“Suelo pasarme casi todo el día en el estudio; trato de levantarme temprano, de entrenar y meditar cada día. Antes de dormirme hago una lista de tareas para el día siguiente, trato de priorizar lo que debo hacer... Aunque no sirve de mucho porque cada día termina siendo di- ferente de lo que pensaba. Se ríe, “Se van presentando tareas y contratiempos”.


Aunque intenta priorizar y planificar, Orpi sabe que cada día puede traer nuevos desafíos y contratiem- pos, especialmente en una industria tan dinámica y competitiva como la música electrónica.

Raised on the outskirts of Barcelona, a place steeped in art, a young Daniel Orpi found inspiration in hip-hop and graffiti at a very early age. DAY TO DAY


For Daniel, each day begins early in the studio. Between making music, administrative work, and managing his record label, Diggin’ Records, his day is filled with acti- vities that demand attention and dedication.


“I usually spend almost the entire day in the studio; I try to wake up early, exercise, and meditate every day. Be- fore going to sleep, I make a to-do list for the next day and try to prioritize what I need to do... However, it’s not very useful because each day ends up being different from what I thought. He laughs, “Tasks and setbacks arise.”


Although he tries to prioritize and plan, Orpi knows that each day may bring new challenges and setbacks, especially in such a dynamic and competitive industry like electronic music.
