“I can’t share too many details yet, but these upcoming projects are going to be really spe- cial. I’m working with some incredibly talented people, and they’re pushing me to explore new musical territories I’ve never been to before. I think the results are going to surprise a lot of people.”
A GLOBAL JOURNEY: GROWING IN ASIA AND SOUTH AMERICA
As our conversation turned to her interna- tional career, ANII talked about her growing success in Asia and South America, particu- larly in China. I was curious about what she thought made her music resonate so deeply in these regions.
“I think it’s the emotional depth and rhythmic complexity in my tracks,” she reflected.
“Both Asia and South America have such rich musical cultures, and they really appreciate intricate rhythms and music that moves them emotionally. There’s also something personal for me in these places—I feel a strong con- nection to the people and their energy, and I think that comes through in my music.”
Performing in these regions has clearly had a major influence on ANII’s live sets.
“Playing in Asia and South America has been an incredible experience,” she said.
“Both regions are all about vibrant rhythms and high-energy sets, which has pushed me to incorporate more of those elements into my performances. The feedback I get from the crowd is always so intense and positive—it’s definitely shaped how I approach my music on stage.”
Looking ahead, ANII is excited to explore more cities and regions, with South America being a major focus.
“I’m really looking forward to playing in pla- ces like Buenos Aires and São Paulo, and ex- ploring more of Asia as well. I love diving into new cultures and getting a feel for what each audience responds to. It’s all about creating a connection with the crowd, no matter where I am.”
As our conversation wrapped up, it was clear to me that ANII is an artist who’s always loo- king to evolve. Whether it’s through bold new collaborations or connecting with global au- diences, she’s constantly pushing herself to explore new creative spaces. And with so many exciting projects on the horizon, there’s no doubt that ANII is set to make an even bi- gger impact in the electronic music scene.
