Here is my seven-step plan...”

it’s a two-way process - you’re there to find out as much about the company and its culture as they are analysing you,” says Nadim. “Feeling confident that

“Try five minutes of deep

breathing exercises the night before the interview and im mediately prior to the inter view,” says Nadim. “It is of ten commented by experts in meditation that five minutes of mindfulness can help you clear your thoughts, become more focused andhelp combat nerves. Lookup ‘mindfulness’

DO YOUR RESEARCH “Always make sure that you have undertaken

Visualise the scene of the interview and slowly run through the inter view in your mind before the event. Picture yourself arriv ing at the venue, greeting the inferviewer(s), walking into the room, sitting down, feel ing confident and, most im portantly, being in control.

If you’re feeling brave you may want to video the session and watch yourself back. Many of us have no idea how our body language comes across at interviews, so if you notice any negative tendencies you have the time to improve them, such as slouching or interrupting the interviewer.
