TINY trains have become a big attraction at Edisford Bridge, and now'they have

clocked up their 100,000th visitor. Dawn Bunting, visiting

with nephew Kyle Waters, bought the lucky 100,0o6th ticket and got a bottle of champagne for herself and chocolates for Kyle. The miniature railway has

been operating for more than 25 years, run by Ribble Valley Live Steamers Club. ■ Their model live steam and petrol-powered locomotives pull up to 18 passengers a time on trucks straddling 1,200 feet of elevated track in five-inch and three-and-a- half inch gauge. Club committee member

john Aubin said: "It has taken some tjme and a lot of hard work to reach this milestone. Our members agreed the event should not pass without some celebration."

musical director and co-writer, best man at his wedding to model Penny Lancaster, and now they are collaborating again on Stewart's new album, to be released next year. "It is wonderful to be working with him

again because we've always got on well and share a great love for music, said Cregan, who has won a host of multi-platinum awards with Stewart. "I went over to Rod's house recently and we

came up with a song called 'Brighton Beach', which was about Rod's early days when he was sleeping rough under Brighton Pier and he didn't have a penny. "The lyrics just flowed and it was like a

joyous thing really. It was so exciting to be at the heart of it, writing with Rod again and that song is penned for the album." Cregan will team up with X Factor finalist

Ben Mills at The Grand this month to celebrate a feel-good evening of Rod Stewart hits, including "Maggie Ma/', "Sailing" and "Blondes Have More Fun": And Cregan, best known for his associations

with Family, Steve Harley and Cockney Rebel and Unda Lewis, says he is looking forward to playing at the Ribble Valley, theatre for the first time.
