Chapel Holden Chapel held its anniversary services on Sunday, when the preacher for the after noon was Mr D. Se ward, of Halton. Two members of the Living Purpose group sang nu merous pieces.
The organists for the day were Mrs B. Harrison and Mr M. Blakey. The collections were for chapel funds.

Fellowship On Sunday Harrop Chris tian Fellowship wel comed retired Pastor Bryan Lingard, of Bar- noidswick. He spoke on Jesus’ parable of the sheep follow and the goats don’t. He encour aged us to follow Jesus the Good Shepherd and not be like goats. We look forward to his next visit. On Thursday at 7-45 p.m. there will be the monthly Prayer Meeting. ing in church recently where Rev Andrew Malcolm took his first Mother’s Union serv ice at the church. After notices Pamal Rothwell was welcomed. He is the Diosecan Secretary and he gave a talk entitled A Wedding Bouquet explaining some of the many wedding tradi tions that everyone use, but don’t always know the meaning. After wards there was refresh ments and socialising. New members always welcome.
