were looking for a graduate or someone with two years’ experience, but I thought I’d give it a go anyway. Luckily, they were impressed by my work and confidence. “I’m loving my job now and eventu

THE long awaited development of a derelict mill site in Clitheroe has moved one step closer to becoming a
reality after several years. Award winning housebuilder Miller
Homes has stepped in to re-develop the former Primrose Mill site in Woone Lane. The regeneration scheme was first grant

official opening of the new combined visitor information centre and gaiiery at
the Platform Gallery, which is next to the town’s railway station and bus interchange.
The aim of the move is to improve
access to information for visitors and increase footfall at the gallery. The Platform Gallery has become one of the county’s premier venues for
contemporary crafts after a £100,000
refurbishment funded by the National Lotteiy in 2001. It hosts eight exhibitions a year, a
busy workshop programme and a shop stocking a range of unique goods. The refurbishment of the gallery to incorporate the visitor information

AN 85-year-old man who had gone missing from his home in the early hours of Friday morning, was found and returned safely by Rossendale and
