COSTUME DRAMA: Children from Edisford Primary School, in Clitheroe, entered into the spirit of Comic Relief by wearing “something funny,for money”. They raised more than £250 in donations and pictured above is the school’s Year Six class, with their teacher Mrs Holden, taking part in the dressing-up parade.


ROLE REVERSAL: Staff and residents of The Manor House Nursing and Residential Home, in Chatburn, swapped clothes and roles for the day to raise money for Comic Relief. Fun was had by all and there was a special “strike a pose” tombola in which


the winner had to perform a Comic Relief dance. It was fun and laughter all day and also raised money for a good cause.


COLOURFUL CREW: Tiny tots at the Rossendale Nursery and Baby Unit, on York St, Clitheroe, wore colourful fancy dress costumes to raise money for Comic Relief, with staff members joining in the dressing up too. There was a variety of princesses, pirates, fairies and “wear something funny for money” outfits, with more than £75 raised on Red Nose Day.


CLOTHING CALAMITY: Children at Bolton-by-BowIand Primary School wore their clothes muddled up to raise money for Red Nose Day. They raised £ 3 5 .2 0 by wearing clothes inside out, shoes on wrong feet, pants on their heads and clothing back to front.
