A FULL week of regal activi ties was enjoyed by pupils at Edisford Primary School, in Clitheroe, in the run-up to the Royal Wedding.

. On Tuesday children were invited to interview surprise guests including “K a te ” “Prince Charles”, “the royal chef’, “Prince William” and the Archbishop”.

On Thursday, watched by the whole school, the nursery

and reception children walked the “Royal Mile” around the school’s trim trail. This was followed by a special lunch and street party which all the children dressed, up for to took part in. The highlight of the afternoon’s activities was the school’s own royal wed ding conducted on its outdoor stage area and officiated by the school’s own “Archbishop , Headteacher Robert Pye.

for pupils RED, white and blue were the colours of the day at Brookside Pri mary School as they celebrated a fun-filled day themed around the Royal Wedding. Children and staff

came to school wearing red, white and blue and each class made and dec orated cakes, which were all put together to make a giant one! Some of the classes

FANCY hats and glittering tiaras were out in force as residents of Eshton Ter race marked the Royal Wedding. They held a street party and tucked

into delicious home-made food and drinks. To get people into the swing of things, the residents arrived in fancy hats

and played games including “pin the ti ara on the princess”. A spokesman said: “A great afternoon

was had by everyone and thanks to eve ryone who came, who helped setting up and who made the afternoon so enjoy able.”
