nation fi-om Holden Chapel. The response has been absolutely fantastic, with a total of 80 backpacks collected. The backpacks contain basic but essen­


tial items and will go to parts of the world where children have been hit by natural dis­ aster, famine or war. Each backpack means that a child can go


to school with the right kit and will receive a midday meal.


The Mary’s Meals organisation, which


runs the scheme, was already at work in Haiti before the earthquake struck.
