‘Young at heart’ family man dies

A SELFLESS and much­ loved family man, commu­ nity-stalwart and business­ man has died aged 82.


• ■ Mr Keith Newmark,-of Sabden, the founder and for­ mer chairman of Padiham’s landmark Keith Newmark Ltd, was well-known for. his dedication, willingness and determination-when it came to helping organisations with­ in the community. '


- He was an active member


of S t Nicholas’s Church ini Sabden and a member of-its PCC and for^^many years he' served as a governor of Sab-, den Primary School.'. ‘

■ also a former chairman and current president of the Rib­ ble Valley Conservative Asso­ ciation where he was a loyal member for more than 40 years, a former chairman of Sabden Conservative branch and was twice president of Padiham’s Rotary. Club. ■ - Ribble Valley MP Mr Nigel


Evans was among.those who paid tribute to'Mr Newmark at.- a / fund-raising dinner organised by the Conserva­ tive Association, at Clitheroe Golf Club.
