: Section of the BBC Radio 2 big band competition in 1996 and- 2000.

gold medal a t the Boosey and Hawkes National Concert Band Festival on numerous occasions in recent years. Until 2005, the big band was
directed by Goff Richards and worked -with eminent jazz soloists
