A SPLENDID eve ning of fun, food, entertainment and sporting success was ^enjoyed by Kibble Val-
^ley pupils. Around 75 pupils and
seven members of staff from C lith e ro e Royal
■ Grammar School Sixth Form Centre gathered a t Ewood Park, Blackburn, for the f irs t ever sports ball. The glittering ceremo
ny consisted of a three- course meal, presentation
and a disco, allowing guests to dance the night
. away. Organised by pupils
Declan Fitzhenry, Holly Bond, Andrew Hartley and Gareth Pickup, with help from Ch r istin e Mitchell, head of physi cal educa tion,

evening was a celebration of sporting success and
.•talent. A raffle was also held
with prizes donated by local businesses. Summing up the event,
one of th e org an isers Holly said: “The evening was a huge success and
