Notice is hereby given that Ribble Valley Borough Council (“the Council") proposes to make an Order under Sections 32,35 and Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (The 1984 Acf) and by virtue of the Road Traffic (Permitted Parking Area and Special Parking Area)(County of Lancashire) Order 2004 (The Lancashire Order") and the provisions referred to in the Lancashire Order. This Order shall be called the Ribble Valley Borough Council (Off- - Street Parking Places) Order 2008. Its effect will be to; (1) update the Order to take into account the Traffic Management Act 2004 (2) update the charges in column 7 of the Schedule to the Order (3) revoke the Ribble Valley (Off-Street


Parking Places) Order 2006 and the Ribble Valley (Off-Street Parking)(Chipping) Order 2008. The Schedule to this Notice shows the days and times of operation, the maximum period for waiting, the classes of vehicles for which the parking places will be made available and the charges proposed to be made for the use of the ■ parking places.


Documents giving more detailed particulars of the Order including the draft Order itself are available for inspection by the public at the Council Offices, Church Walk, Clitheroe, Lancashire, BB7 2RA during normal office hours. Any objections or other representations relating to the Order must be made in writing to me no later than March 4 2008. All objections must specify the grounds on which they are made.
