and is extremely pleased with his purchase. He’s always liked that par ticular model and reckons that its classic design will wear well with time. He has already experienced Jaguar ownership having possessed an X- Type, a car that he has very much enjoyed owned over the last few years.

The new BMW 3 Series
During his test-drive of the XKR, Roy found the car to be very responsive especially with around 400 bhp on tap. A few days earlier, he test-drove a Porsche 911 and although that car was undeniably great to drive, he felt that the German-made model was hard work when driving over longer distances, with its stiff suspension and what he believes to be, high noise levels. On his return journey from the Porsche dealer, he found that his X-Type was more refined and less tiring to drive, and made the decision to try out the more powerful Jaguar XKR and to discount the Porsche from his list of possible new car purchases.
After being very impressed with what the XKR had to offer, he ordered one finished in a very attractive Midnight Black Metallic. Ten days after his collecting his new Jaguar Roy describes his owning the car as a dream come true. He loves the way it looks, the way it drives and the way it cossets the driver and passenger. He describes the seats as being supremely comfortable and that while the Jaguar is refined, it also offers amazing levels of performance.
Asked as to whether Roy would purchase another XKR in the future he said that he knows that the present model is to be replaced in the not too distant future, and that he would definitely consider buying its suc
cessor. He was likely to hang on to his present Jaguar XKR for the next three-years.
As for Mead of Blackburn Jaguar, Roy said that the dealer offered: “Superb service. I was impressed with the customer care supplied by Mead Jaguar. The products offered are excellent and right from my walk ing into the showroom for my initial test-drive through to the actual deliv ery of the car, the team at Mead Jaguar could not have offered a better customer service experience. They’re well organised and provide a totally-professional service.”
MOTORING FEATURF BOWKER BMW CUSTOMER TESTIMONY W dissapointed.
hen Christopher Bowes picked up his new BMW X3 2.0-litre Diesel Sport recently, he knew instantly that this was going to be a relationship that was going to blossom. Having been the proud
owner of a BMW 3 Series 320, Christopher knew that he could expect his new X3 to be superbly built, comfortable and refined. However, he won dered whether the X3 was going to provide the level of performance that his previous BMW 320 had given him. He needn’t have worried. The X3 has lived up well to his expectations, the 2.0-litre diesel offers plenty of power and decent levels of performance. The engine is already loosen ing up and its acceleration is already improving day by day during the process of running-in. The car comes into its own on long journeys. Chris has already driven all the way down to London and back again, and found his new BMW to be ideal for long distance travelling.
( i .
Chris decided to upgrade from the BMW 320 after finding out that his wife was expecting their first child. He needed a family-oriented car and after the couple took a test-drive in the X3 Diesel 2.0-litre Sport, they dis covered a car that was exactly right for their needs. Chris loved the driv ing experience offered by the BMW. Handling was first-class, especially for what is a 4x4 and it was actually more powerful than his BMW 320.

When asked whether he would consider purchasing another in two or three years time, Chris said that whatever he buys, it will be a BMW.
However, he and his wife love their new BMW X3 and are likely to keep hold of it for sometime to come.
As for Bowker BMW. the dealership where two years ago he bought his BMW 320, and has now has part-exchanged it for the X3 2.0-litre Diesel Sport, he can’t praise them enough. ‘They’ve always provided excellent customer service and impressive aftersales back-up. I’m very pleased
wrth the service that my wife and I receive from Bowker BMW. They can’t be faulted.”
M
oy Davies is now the proud owner of one of Jaguar's most exciting models, the svelte and rapid XKR. Roy collected his new Jaguar from north-west dealers Mead of Blackburn Jaguar on 19th March
